1. The puḷḷi is marked to the left of the respective letters. Note the puḷḷi in ko to indicate the short medial vowel -o. 2. Only the upper half of the letter with the medial stroke -i is preserved. 3. The last letter is yi as verified by the CICT Ta. Br. Photographic Survey. 4. Read nāḻal. cf. LT ñaḻal / nāḻal 'a flowering tree'. The word occurs here as a place name. 5. Variant of koṟṟantai. 6. [ḷ*] restored from the context. 7. paḷḷi-. |
