1. The -i medial stroke is added to the left limb of the letter. 2. The tall vertical line seen between the 4th and 5th letters is part of the earlier rock carvings. 3. A symbol, probably the palm tree, insignia of the Cēra dynasty. See ETE 2, Section 5.18 on the interpretation of the symbol. 4. A hybrid Tamil-Prakrit expression. cf. LT kaṭumāṉ.
